iHunt EV charging network surpasses 1,000 charging points in Romania

Ploiești, March 2, 2026 – iHunt EV, the electric mobility division of iHunt Technology Import Export S.A., has surpassed the milestone of 1,000 charging points in Romania, just two years after launching its network.
The iHunt EV network, developed by the Romanian company iHunt Technology Import Export S.A., has grown rapidly over the past two years through continuous investment in charging infrastructure and nationwide expansion. This growth reflects the increasing interest in electric mobility, driven by changes in the energy market and rising costs associated with conventional fuels.
According to the preliminary report published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange website, iHunt EV has reached over 1,000 operational charging points, strengthening its role in the development of electric mobility infrastructure in Romania.
“iHunt EV represents a key pillar in our growth strategy and will be the main driver of our future expansion. We are building local infrastructure with a long-term vision, in a context where more and more users are seeking efficient alternatives to rising fuel costs,” said Vlad Hriștea, CEO of iHunt Technology Import Export S.A.
The network’s expansion is supported by collaborations with local partners and growing interest from the business sector in charging infrastructure, alongside increasing demand for electric mobility solutions.

iHunt EV is the electric vehicle charging network developed by iHunt Technology Import Export S.A., a Romanian company listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
